We concepted and photographed this series for the first ever “Summer of Swim” for SPORTS ILLUSTRATED. On a cold, incredibly windy, 45 degree afternoon, we shot on a Soho rooftop to create “summer”(and nailed it!). Following this shoot was a massive PR push and social media storm featuring these images if the incredible Hannah Ferguson.

Inspired by the iconic environmental “wrapped” art of married duo, Christo and Jeanne-Claude, this print creative promoting the new SPORTS ILLUSTRATED iPad App ran within the pages of the magazine over the three weeks leading up to the launch. Actual bikinis from the year’s shoots were used to wrap the iPad and then slowly removed, revealing a little more of the screen as the weeks progressed. The digital translation was a time-lapse video of the reveal using roughly twenty frames and many more bikinis.
