For their “Love” issue, L’EDITO brought us to Paris where we shot two stories and the cover just days before going to print. Featured on cover and in a twelve page editorial is Ines Smet, daughter of the famous French musician Johnny Hallyday. The goal was to create a bold, colorful and graphically driven editorial, which Le Beau delivered, handling all photography, retouching and compositing. The eye catching cover can be spotted at Paris newsstands through March.
For this same issue Le Beau produced, cast, retouched, illustrated and photographed model Lexi Wood. Being tasked with creating a sexy sport story, we decided to go with clean backgrounds, minimal props and a graphic overlay of hand drawn illustrations by Le Beau art director, Nick Bloom-Scaglione.
