We collaborated with GOOGLE to create a short video promoting Messages for Japan, a website they developed which enabled people from all over the globe to send messages of support and hope to the people of Japan in the wake of the March 11th tsunami. We shot in multiple homes and locations throughout NYC, working with a diverse collection of talent. Through the site, users are able to write messages in their own words, in their own languages, while Messages for Japan translated them in real time through the integration of the Google Translate API. Instantly, messages were posted to the site for all those in the global community to read and pass along.
